Tickets for Family Weekend events will go on sale on June 1. For questions about athletic events, please contact the Illinois State University Athletics Ticket Office at 309-438-8000.
There are no refunds issued for any Family Weekend ticket purchases. Parents can post in the Illinois State University parents Facebook group if they have tickets available that another family could purchase.
If your student is a Red Alert member, they just need to swipe their student ID at any gate to Hancock Stadium to receive admission to the game. Red Alert members do not need to claim a ticket ahead of time. For non-Red Alert members, single-game student tickets to regular-season football games are $5. Students must purchase that ticket directly because they have to provide their student ID number. Single-game student tickets for all home football games are on sale now. Students may purchase tickets online at GoRedbirds.com/students or in-person at either the Hancock Stadium or Redbird Arena ticket offices.
Tailgating lots will open at 7 a.m. on game day. Any cars left in those lots from midnight until 7 a.m. on game day will be re-located, and may be ticketed or towed. Tailgating will end 1 1/2 hours after the end of the game. Alcohol possession and consumption are restricted to those 21 years of age and older. Signage will be visible in tailgate lots designating tailgate rules and procedures.
For more information on available parking or tailgating during Family Weekend, or to view other parking locations on campus, contact the Office of Parking and Transportation.
